Day Three Competition Update

Whew…what a day!!! It was a beautful day in LA- 75 degrees, warm and sunny, however, most of the team’s day was spent inside presenting and finishing up final presentations! Today, the  Outreach team presented their Final Year One Outreach presentation to nearly seven judges. During the presentation, the team highlighted some of the most successful Year One outreach events, social media activities and media relation strategies. This year the team has achieved:

Media hits: 42 media hits during Year One

Social Media sites: 8 social media sites

Outreach Events: 37 outreach events, 13 of which were solely hosted by OSU, 7 events were Collaboration with Clean Cities Coalition (Clean Fuels Ohio)

Great job outreach team!! Final outreach awards will be on Tuesday afternoon, so be sure to check back for results.

Even though there was only one presentation today, the team was constantly working on other presentations including Controls, Business, Mechanical, Electrical, as well as the Freescale presentation. These five presentations will be given tomorrow during Day four of competition! Additionally, the sponsor social will be tomorrow night, so stay tuned for some photos following the reception!
