Year Two Kickoff Ceremony

Join the Ohio State EcoCAR 2 Team tomorrow for a Year Two Kickoff ceremony for the second year of the EcoCAR 2: Plugging in to the Future advanced vehicle competition. This program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and General Motors, challenges 15 universities across North America to redesign a 2013 Chevy Malibu. Currently, we are in our second year of rebuilding our Malibu into a parallel-series plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

The ceremony, will be held on Wednesday, September 12th from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Student Motorsports Garage at the OSU Center for Automotive Research located at 930 Kinnear Road. The ceremony will being at 1:30 p.m. and will feature brief remarks from representatives from the College of Engineering, Fisher College of Business, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, the Center for Automotive Research, and other OSU departments.

Parking is available in the back lot or to the lot located east of CAR.
